Never played?

Padel in two minutes

Padel is played two against two on an enclosed court, with a solid racket and an underarm serve. The walls are part of the game: the ball can bounce off the glass and stay in play, which keeps rallies going far longer than in tennis.

That is why beginners get hooked in one session. There is no learning curve to get through before the game becomes fun, and a mixed group of complete beginners and regular players still has a good match.

Before you come

Floodlit until 22:00

Evening play is the best time on Samui. The court is fully lit, so the last slot starts at 21:00.

Gear is optional

Rackets are available at reception. If you want a fresh tube of balls, add it when you book.

Wear flat trainers

Any court or running shoe works on the artificial turf. No studs, and no bare feet.

Arrive 10 minutes early

Slots run back to back, so check in a few minutes before yours starts to get the full hour.

Karting next door

The court sits beside the track. Play a set, then take the karts out, and eat on site afterwards.

One court only

Weekend evenings fill up first. Book a day or two ahead if you want a specific time.

Questions

Frequently asked

How much does it cost to play padel in Koh Samui?

The court costs 1,000 THB for 60 minutes during the day and 1,200 THB from 17:00 onwards. That is for the whole court, so up to 4 players share it. Racket rental is 100 THB each and a new tube of balls is 300 THB.

Do I need to bring my own racket?

No. Rackets are available at reception. Tick the box when you book and we will have them ready for you.

How many people can play on one court?

Padel is normally played two against two, so four players per court. The price is the same whether you are two or four.

Can I play in the evening?

Yes. The court is floodlit and the last slot starts at 21:00, finishing at 22:00. Evening slots are the busiest, so book ahead.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Very much so. The serve is underarm and the walls keep the ball in play, so rallies happen from your first game. Most people are playing points within ten minutes.

Can I cancel or move my booking?

Contact us as soon as you know and we will do our best to move you to another slot. Because there is only one court, late cancellations are hard to fill.
